Tried on about a dozen different shoes and decided on these.I have high arches, but a neutral stride. I have transitioned to a midfoot strike and these shoes have really helped. They seem to encourage a mid or forefoot strike. They are very lightweight, breathable, and extremely comfortable. I've been running in them for about 10 weeks now and truly have no complaints. I used to get knee pain when running, but haven't had any with these shoes. Perfect combo of light support in a somewhat minimalist running shoe. I can't recommend them enough. I just completed my first run in these shoes and ran my furthest distance yet and had no shin splints! They do run a little small, so I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a half size larger. They were comfortable from the very first wear. I ran three miles the very first time they were on my feet. They have great support and a roomy toe area. I wear an 8 1/2 but ordered a 10 and don't regret it. Typically my big toe rubs, so I always get shoes a little big for running, and based on reviews these run a little small anyway. I would definitely recommend them, and might buy them again when I wear through these. |
